September update - Busy, Busy, Busy!

September has turned out to be one of the busiest months I have had in a while which is a great feeling as we move forward to things becoming slightly more normal!

Back to school of course...

I had a brilliant recording session for a project (details to come later) from the pen of the super talented Martin Green. I recorded some solos with some of the best brass players around and it was an amazing day. I can't wait to tell you more about this project as soon as I am allowed!

Our first contest in a long time took place and I was lucky enough to adjudicate at the 1st Section National Championships in Cheltenham. One of my favourite pieces, Connotations was the test piece and a great day was had by all. Huge congratulations to all the competitors and all at Kapitol Promotions for making it possible.

I also delivered an online masterclass for the Band Association of NSW, Australia in collaboration with Skunkworks Productions Ltd. This was fantastic with loads of questions from the many curious delegates. It was lovely to hear those Australian accents again!

I have to admit it's great to be back and my diary has filled up very quickly! Lots and lots to look forward to :-)
